Spectacular fishing can be found within minutes of Conn Brown Harbor. Thousands of Redfish inhabit the flats in Aransas Pass, and catching redfish that can exceed thirty pounds is not uncommon. Sight fishing, fly fishing, live bait and lure fishing can be done with great success for the beginning anglers to the most advanced. Speckled trout, redfish, flounder, black drum, and sheepshead are abundant in our bays.

You can launch your boat from the public boat ramp at Conn Brown’s Harbor Point Park and within minutes, you’ll be in some of the best flats fishing areas the Texas coast has to offer! There are fishing piers and miles of shoreline to fish from. Wade fishing and fishing from a kayak have become extremely popular. Numerous fishing guides use Conn Brown as a starting point for flats and bay fishing.

The entrance to Conn Brown Harbor can be found at N27 53.869 W097 08.058 (WGS-84 datum), or near Intracoastal Waterway mile marker 533 in Aransas Pass, Texas.

The City of Aransas Pass comprises a total area of 51.8 square miles. The total area of Aransas Pass is 20.71% land and 79.29% water, or 10.7 square miles of land and 41.1 square miles of water. With so much water, how could you not have a great time!
