This department is responsible for the service and maintenance
of approximately 2,640 sewer connections and 30 miles of sewer
line. It operates and maintains a 1.6 MGD wastewater treatment
plant. It also maintains 14 sewer lift stations, performs service
and main line repair, replacement, installation and cleaning,
and installs new sewer taps. Additional responsibilities include
reporting to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the
U. S. Environmental Protection Agency.

• 8 Full Time Water/Sewer Maintenance
Workers (same 8 listed in the Water Storage Department)
• 1 Full Time Lift Station Maintenance Worker
• 1 Full Time Wastewater
Plant Maintenance worker
